Cathy Peel, age 67, of Chipley, FL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 28, 2022.  She was born on September 21, 1955 in Chipley, FL to the late Walter M. Hutchinson and Fredda (Campbell) Hutchinson.

Cathy is a Chipley High School graduate, Class of 1973.  She furthered her education at Chipola College where she graduated in 1975.  She went on and finished her Master's Degree at the University of West Florida graduating in 1977.  Cathy was a school teacher for 39 years and loved her Kindergarten students dearly.  She also loved the Lord, her family and her church family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Randy Peel of Chipley, FL, one daughter, Jenna Peel Lee and husband Miles of Enterprise, AL, brother in law, Fred Peel and wife Vicky of Chipley, FL, two nephews, Colby Peel and wife Amber, Chris Butler, one niece, Courtney Peel Stanford and husband Jimmy, brother in law, two special cousins, Connie Campbell, Sherri Paul and hundreds of kindergarten students.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 3:30 P.M. at Glenwood Cemetery.  Reverend Juno Douglas will be officiating.

In Lieu of Flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Cathy's honor to Kate Smith Elementary School to the Kindergarten Classes.
