Catherine Brock Worthington, age 96 of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Washington Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on June 27, 1920 in Chipley, FL to the late John Griffin and Allie (McAdams) Griffin.

Catherine has been a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and she was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Panama City, FL.

She is preceded in death by husband, Dan Brock, and husband, Mirtie Worthington, one brother, J.C. Griffin and three sisters, Paulette Rogers, Lena Ellisor and Orene Rossborough.

Survivors include, three sons, William Brock and wife Ginny of Lynn Haven, FL, Tom Brock of Panama City, FL, John Brock and wife Sharlene of Panama City, FL, three daughters, Floretta Jackson and husband Harold of Pensacola, FL, Jane Brown and husband John of Chipley, FL, Florene Parsons and husband Bill of Panama City, FL, one step-daughter, Ruth Bush of Chipley, FL, two brothers, Buford Griffin and wife Ruth of Port St. Joe, FL, Gene Griffin and wife Liz of Freeport, FL, two sisters, Elvie Hardin of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Street and husband Jack of Panama City, FL, sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home with visitation being held one hour prior to service time. A private family interment will be held later in the day at Bethel Baptist Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
