Catherine Irene Pippin, 82 of Chipley, went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2025 at the Bonifay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bonifay, Florida.

Catherine was born on September 26, 1942 in Cottondale, Florida to Brown and Amanda (Bradley) Sapp. A lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle, she worked as Secretary for TASECO, Telephone Answering Service Equipment Company. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Chipley, FL for many years. Catherine will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband: James Raymond Pippin; parents: Brown and Amanda Sapp; two sons: Anthony Pippin and Phillip Pippin; brothers: Donald Sapp, Jerry Sapp, John Sapp, and C.B. Sapp.

She is survived by her daughter: Diana Hughes and husband Micky of Enterprise, Alabama; brother: Wallace Sapp and wife Edna of Cottondale, Florida;  her sisters; Betty Carroll of Chipley, FL and Nell Brese of Chipley, FL; grandchildren: Michael Hughes of Chelsea, Alabama; great grandchildren: Ava, Conner, and Grayson.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor 11:00AM Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Grace Assembly in Chipley, Florida with Pastor Dallas Pettis officiating. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.

The family will recieve friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
