Catherine Nicholas Finklea, age 81 of Chipley, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at her home. Catherine was born April 15, 1933 in Flomaton, Alabama to the late Thomas Guy and Minnie L. (Jernigan) Nicholas. She had been a resident of Chipley for the past eight years coming from Pensacola, Florida and was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church in Wawbeek, Alabama. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by; a son, Terrell D. Bullard; two daughters, Linda D. Strickland and Catherine Bullard. Survivors include; two sons, Ralph D. Coley and wife Diantha of Swan Quarter, North Carolina and James H. Bullard Jr. and wife Denise of Molino, Fla. ; four daughters, Belinda G. Patterson of Chipley, Mary L. Smith of Chipley Cheryl D. Reyes of Chipley and Kitty M. Bullard of Chipley; three sisters, Lois Godwin of Walnut Hill, Fla., Jackie Grantham of Brewton, Ala., and Pauline Torelli of Mobile, Alabama; a daughter in law, Kathi Bullard of Pace, Fla; 24 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Chapel with the Rev. Tim Steele officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Wachob-Forest Lawn Cemetery.
