Carolyn Tobias Williams was born September 11, 1925, in Chipley, Florida, the second child of Frank and Louise Tobias and died April 25, 2013 in Chipley, Florida. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Carroll Eugene (Jeep) Williams and survived by two sisters and one brother, Julia "Boots" Sirmans of Adel, Georgia, Bobby Craven of Chipley, and Frank Tobias, Jr. and his wife Jacquelyn Gilbert Tobias of West Palm Beach, Florida. Nephews and nieces are Brownie and Mike Sirmans, Leola Brock and Kathy Rudd, Jeni Dennis, Susan Brown and Toby Tobias.Carolyn and her husband, Jeep, moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida, in 1947. She worked with Southern Bell and retired in 1986 after 43 years. Jeep was a commercial fisherman, one of seven sons of Captain Fred Williams of Panama City, Florida, and died in 1976. Carolyn moved back to Chipley in 2006 to live close to her sister, Bobby. Graveside services are to be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley, 2 P.M. Sunday, April 28, 2013.
