Carmen Maria Baltazar, age 60 of Cottondale, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 in the Gulf Coast Community Hospital. Mrs. Baltazar was born June 28, 1950 in Puerto Rico to the late Marcelo Burgos and his wife Almaida (Guzman) Burgos. She was a homemaker and member of the St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in Chipley. Survivors include; her Mother, Almaida Guzman of Dade City, Fla.; her husband, Jose Baltazar of Cottondale; one son, Marcelo Reyes of Chipley; two daughters, Carmen Small of Morrisville, Vermont, Senobia Carter of Dover, Delaware; six brothers, Angel Burgos of Georgia, Raymon Burgos of Dade City, Manuel Burgos of Wilmington, Delaware, Jesus Burgos of Dade City, Carlos Burgos of Dover, Delaware, Julio Burgos of Dade City; one sister, Bhinda Morado of Chipley and eight Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in Chipley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in Dade City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those wishing to do so, make contributions to St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church at Hwy 77 South, Chipley, Florida 32428.
