Carmen J. Adams, age 81 of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on August 25th, 1943 in Bonifay, FL to the late Virginia (Kowitz) Griffin.

Carmen is a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and was the owner of the Pick Quick on Highway 90.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louie Adams and her mother, Virginia Kowitz.  Survivors include one son, Flint Adams of Chipley, FL, three daughters, Rita Sweat of Crestview, FL, Jenah Burns of Chipley, FL, Desiree Dalton and husband Mark of Panama City, FL, one sister, Cheryl Quick of Chipley, FL.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Sophia White, Shane Bloggett, Nina Jordan, Michael Adams, Tiffany Adams, Louie Land, Lilly Dalton, Brandy Williams and ten great grandchildren, Logan Adams, Kori Adams, Matthew McWaters, Dylan Steverson, Emma Steverson, Carmen Land, Vivian Land, Emmett White, Ella White, Brinlee Land.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. in Chipley at Brown Funeral Home.  Interment will be held at a later date at Earthman Memorial Gardens in Baytown, Texas.
