Carmela "Millie" Howard, age 88 of Chipley passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in the Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. Born July 13, 1922 in Lynn, Massachusetts to the late Anthony and Mary P. (Picariello) Coviello, she was a former receptionist for the George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. She had been a resident here for the past 36 years and was of Catholic Faith. In addition to her Parents, she is predeceased by her Husband; James Howard. Survivors include one Brother; Charles J. Coviello and his wife Roberta of Derry, New Hampshire, two Sisters; Mae McIntire of Leesburg, Fla., Margaret Kelso and Husband Joseph of Peabody, Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church with the Rev. George Summut officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the church. Interment will follow in Wachob-Forest Lawn Cemetery in Chipley.
