Buddy L. Eaton, age 62 of Vernon, died Tuesday, April 28th, at his home. A native of Bristol, Tennessee, he had been a resident of Vernon for the past 25 years coming from Orlando, Florida. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, having served as a medic. He was a member of the V.F.W. Vernon Post and was of Protestant faith. Survivors include his Wife, Wanda L. Eaton of Vernon, one Son: Buddy Edward & Wife Diane Eaton of Westville, Fla., One Daughter; Tina & Husband Bruce Locklear of Vernon, his Mother;
Willidean Eaton of Bristol, Tenn., one Brother; Dennis Eaton of Blountville, Tenn. One Sister; Glenna Kassem of Bristol, Tenn. Six Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Friday May 1st at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home on Main St. with the Rev. Eddie Eaton and Rev. Don Quick officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Chipley.
