Brett Lee Brininger, age 50 of Chipley, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley. Brett was born December 24, 1960 in Painesville, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Jill (Younge) Brininger. He had retired as a First Class Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy and had moved to Chipley in 1993 from Hawaii. He was a member of the Chipley Am Vets. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Carrie Brininger. Survivors include; his wife, Rosemarie (Pajaron) Brininger of Chipley; two sons, Wilbur Brininger and wife Sarah of Chipley and Phillip Brininger of Chipley; one brother, Berry Brininger of Marianna; three sisters, Cam Brininger and Candy Corbin both of Marianna and Carrie Brininger of Tallahassee.
The family will receive friends Sunday May 1, 2011 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel with the Rev. Michael Orr Officiating. Cremation will follow.
