Brenda Strickland Anderson, age 64, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 21, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Ebro, FL and was an active member of Spring Valley Holiness Church. She was born in Walton County, FL on March 21, 1951 to the late Daniel and Betty Sue Strickland. Brenda is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Jerry Lee Anderson, her father in law, Alva Anderson and mother in law, Lois Anderson. She leaves behind a daughter, Carmen and husband Wade Moon, two grandchildren, Avery and Gracie Moon who she loved very much, and four siblings, sister Glenda Hunt and spouse Jerome, brother Glen Strickland and spouse Terri Ann, sister Gaile Page and spouse Lamar, brother Dorty Strickland and spouse Stacie. She is also survived by her Anderson brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She graduated From Vernon High School Class of 1969. Brenda was a doer, always willing to go the extra mile for other people. She enjoyed the simple things in life like spending time with family, gardening, and fishing. Especially cat fishing with her sister Gaile and her cousin Barbara Jean (Bob) who was like another sister. Brenda will be greatly missed by all of her family, friends and community. A Celebration of life will be held at Spring Valley Holiness Church with visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. Funeral will be conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Her final resting place will be at the Ebro Cemetery. Service will be officiated by Brother Billy Hendrix, Brother Ed Mike and Brother Horace McCormick. Her final message would be, "Get ready so we can be together again in Heaven".
