Obituary

Bobby Austin Williams Jr., 58, of Chipley, FL departed this world on February 27, 2024.  Bobby was born on November 9th, 1965 to Robert and Sharon Williams on an army base in Germany.  He grew up in Mississippi where he would also raise his own family.

Bobby was a well traveled man.  He enlisted in the Army infantry where he spent most of his time overseas protecting his beloved country as well as learning the culture and languages of as many places as he could.  Bobby was a Gulf War veteran where he was injured on the front lines during his service.  After his four year enlistment, he settled down as a family man and a world renowned artist.

In July of 1988, Bobby married his first wife, Teresa Joyce, where he assumed the role of father to her two children.  One year later, his daughter, Christina, was born. Bobby was a dedicated family man and was determined to provide for his family in any way that he could.  Family meant the world to him, especially his little girl.

Bobby was a force of nature and lit up a room whenever he entered.  He was talented beyond measure and had the wit to match.  He was always willing to debate, and would play devil's advocate just for fun.  Not only was he an amazing artist, but he could sing and dance like no other. Bobby even won a few titles for both song and dance and wore them proudly.

Bobby then met the love of his life, Roxanne, and they spent years traveling and airbrushing until finally settling in Chipley.  He was lucky to spend his last years surrounded with love from not only his fiancé, but his animals as well.

Anyone who knew Bobby knew that he was the most loving father and spouse a family could ask for. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon, his father, Robert, and his ex-wife, Teresa. He is survived by his fiancé, Roxanne Smith, his daughter, Christina Savoie (Dustin), and his stepdaughter Rachael Collins (Mike).  He leaves behind his adoring grandchildren Brady Savoie, Auston Savoie, Gabriella Collins, and Madison Collins. He also will be greatly missed by his siblings Dawn Mayo (Mike), Virginia Scarbrough (Bill), and Dennis Williams.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to their home. There will be a memorial service; however, details are still to come.
