Bobby M. Taunton, age 72, passed from this life December 26, 2021 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Florida. He was born in Westville, Florida on September 30, 1949. Bobby was a retired boat Captain.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Dorothy P. Taunton. Bobby is survived by his wife; Joyce Taunton, his son; Bobby M. Taunton Jr. and wife Kelly, his daughter; Laurie Bess and husband Tony, his grandchildren; Christy Taylor and husband Justin, Skylar Bess, Caitlyn Taunton, Trista Bess, Hunter Taunton, Koleton Taunton and Kelcei Taunton, and two great grandchildren; Jolee and Rylee Taylor.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date. A special, "Thank You", to the staff and doctors at Doctors Memorial Hospital for the care to Bobby while he was there.
