Bobby L. Hawkins Sr. age 53 of Caryville, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010. Bobby was born November 1, 1957 in Panama City to the late John Wayland and Lorine (Helms) Hawkins Sr. He had been a resident here for the past 42 years, was a millwright and was of Baptist faith. He enjoyed his involvement with the Bonifay Quarterback Club. Survivors include two sons, Bobby L. Hawkins Jr. and wife Melissa of Pensacola and Triston Hawkins of Caryville; one daughter, Julie Pettis and husband Olen of Vernon; one brother, John Hawkins Jr. of Vernon; one sister, Teresa H. Marlow of Vernon and three grandchildren, Jacob, Jadyn and Isabella. Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. in the Vernon Community Center. Friends and family are welcome to bring a covered dish. Memorialization will be by cremation. The family suggests contributions to Emerald Coast Hospice, 4374 LaFayette St. Marianna, Florida 32446.
