Bob Hicks, age 72, passed peacefully from this life Friday, February 26, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Chipley, FL on March 27, 1943 to the late Joe Hicks and the late Agnes Miramontes. Bob was a registered nurse at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, FL.

He was survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Hicks of Chipley, FL. Two sons; Bobby Hicks of Chipley, FL and Charlie Hicks and wife Megan of Marietta, GA. One daughter; Colleen Hicks Wahl and husband Robert of Chipley, FL. One sister; Vikki Newsome and husband Darrell of Orlando, FL. Three grandchildren; Robby Hicks and fiancé Katelyn, Hunter Hicks and Megan Yaudas. One great grandchild; Jason Strickland and one nephew; Christopher Newsome of Orlando, FL.

Visitation will be March 5, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Chipley Florida with memorial service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Memorialization will be by cremation. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
