Beuna Stufflestreet, age 86, passed from this life Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Tennessee on November 8, 1928 to William Andrew and Sara Emmalee (Bower) Mathis. Beuna was a homemaker and has spent her life living in Florida and in Tennessee. She was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Stufflestreet is preceded in death by her husband William David Stufflestreet Sr., her parents, two brothers Rudolph "Rudy" Mathis and Claude Mathis and one sister Louise Herrell Cox. She is survived by her two sons William David Stufflestreet Jr. and wife Patricia (Patty) of Bristol, TN and Lester Wayne Stufflestreet and wife Helen of Parrottville, TN. Three daughters Brenda Huffman of Gulf Breeze, FL, Wanda Eaton of DeFuniak Springs, FL, and Virginia Milhorn of Bristol, TN. One brother Carrol "Chuck" Mathis of Elizabeth, TN. One sister Betty Stout of Bluff City, TN, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10:00A.M., Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
