Betty S. Sisson, age 71 of Chipley passed away Monday morning March 3, 2014 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Betty was born January 4, 1943 in Chipley, FL to the late O.D. Joiner and Evelyn (Monk) Joiner. She was a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and was a member of the Faith Covenant Fellowship Church of Chipley, FL. Betty is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Sisson of Chipley, FL, her mother, Evelyn (Monk) Joiner of Chipley, FL, two sons, Kenneth Ray Sisson Jr. and wife Dianne of Chipley, FL, Mark Allen Sisson and wife Cyndi of Chipley, FL, one daughter, Stephanie Sisson Green and husband Curtis of Chipley, FL, three brothers, Cloys Joiner and wife Eva of Chipley, Karen "Bay" Joiner and wife Betty of Lake Placid, FL, Oral Dallas Joiner and wife Laura of Chipley, FL, six grandchildren, Curtis W. Green Jr. "C.J.", Christopher Ryan Green, Jerri Lynn Sisson, Jerrick Sisson, Caitlyn Sisson, Allen Sisson, and two great grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Green Jr. and Harley Wayne Green. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Rock Hill Church Cemetery with Reverend Cloys Joiner officiating. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
