Bettie E. Marchant, age 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 23, 2022.  She was born on April 21, 1936 in Chipley, FL to the late Harvey Enfinger and Bernice (Trawick) Enfinger.

She is a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and was a member of First Baptist Church of Chipley.  She worked on a number of church committees including organizing and furnishing the prayer room.  She retired from Bell South in Panama City after 31 years and then worked for the Department of Education for 5 years. She was also a lifelong member of the telephone Pioneers.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Marchant and son, Stanley Marchant.  Survivors include, daughter, Joy Yarbrough and husband Gary of Loganville, GA, two grandchildren Amy Timms and husband Gary of Woodstock, GA, Ashley Yarbrough and fiancé Jonathan Armistead of Good Hope, GA, two great grandchildren, Annslee Grace Yarbrough, Garrett Ryan Timms

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Chipley.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Mike Orr officiating.  Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
