Aurelio Torres, age 76, passed from this life Friday, March 28, 2014 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital. He was born in Bronx, New York on April 29, 1937 to Thomas and DeJesus (Clementine) Torres. Mr. Aurelio worked as a carpenter and has lived in Chipley since 1996 coming from Bronx, New York. He was also a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #157. Mr. Torres is survived by his wife Patricia Torres of New York City, NY, one son: Michael Anthony Torres and wife Andrea of Andover, NJ, 2 brothers: Thomas and Raymond, 4 sisters: Delia, Louise, Lucy, and Gladys, one niece: Evelyn Modesti and husband Angelo, and 3 grandchildren Janine, Amanda, and Michael. A memorial service will be held 7:30 P.M. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 P.M. before the service. Memorialization will be by cremation.
