Audrey A. Walker, age 87, our precious Mama went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Cord, Arkansas on November 22, 1922 to Lindsey and Rose (Corbit) Miller. Mrs. Walker was in house keeping and retired from the North West Fla Community Hospital . She has lived here since 1959 coming from Belle Glade, Florida. She is of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Wausau Quilting Club. Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her husband Charles Walker, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her 3 sons, Charles Walker and wife Dinnia of South Shore, Ky, Karl Walker and wife Jacqueline of Panama City, Fl., and Michael Walker of Panama City, Fl. 4 daughters, Audrey Tobias of Panama City, Fl., Jean Petta and husband Bob of El Paso, Tx, Rosilee Batchelor and husband Warren of Wausau, Fl., Carlotta (Wendy) Walsingham and husband Ron of Deer Point Lake Fl. 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, January 22, 2010, Graveside at Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Gainer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel on main St.
