Audrey Taunton, age 87 of Panama City, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 in the Community Health and Rehab Center in Panama City. Mrs. Taunton was born September 23, 1924 in Washington County to the late Leander and Loney (Webb) Blocker. She was a former seamstress at Margaret's Fashions and was a member of the Southport Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: two sons, Gary King of Clearwater, Florida, Frank King and wife Lila of Tallahassee; one step daughter, Marion Unger of Lynn Haven; two step sons, Michael Taunton of Panama City and Asa Taunton of Southport; fourteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11 A.M. at the graveside in Piney Grove Cemetery in the Duncan Community with the Rev. Robert Stevens officiating. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
