Ander Jean Sowell, age 87, passed from this life Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at her home. She was born in Washington County, Florida on June 30, 1938 to Ander and Ada (Carter) Taylor.  Ann was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in her yard.

Ann is preceded by her parents, her husband; Edward "Otis" Sowell, and her siblings. She is survived by her daughter; Brenda Sheffield, her grandchildren; James Parker and wife Wendy, Chavet Paridon and husband Jason, Anthony Sheffield and wife Deanna, her great grandchildren; Chance Parker, Cassidy Smith, Caitlyn Spiva, Alanna Smith, Austin Paridon, and her great great grandchildren; Leon Parker and Brentley Spiva.

Her service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Gene Hagan. Interment will follow in the Hard Labor Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. prior to the service.
