Alma Laurell Harvey, age 80, passed from this life Monday, October 6, 2025 at her home. She was born in Wausau, Florida on March 13, 1945 to Newton and Lillie Mae (Taylor) Smith. Mrs. Alma served as Post Master for many years at the Wausau Post Office.

Mrs. Harvey is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Mr. Horace P. Harvey; her parents, Newton and Lillie Mae (Taylor) Smith; her son Randy Harvey, and her siblings, Emmitt Smith, TD Smith, Jaunell Owens and Robert Smith.

She is survived by her children, Ronald Harvey (Lynn), Peter Harvey, Horace P. Harvey Jr., Everett Harvey (Merisha); grandchildren Teresa Kapoi, Kayla Harvey, Jessica Harvey, Christina Thrash (Shawn), Aiden Harvey, Kimberly Gourley (Steve), Jeremiah Harvey (Sabine), Wyatt Harvey, Katie Harvey, Justin Harvey (Anita), Keiran, Zane Harvey, Shawn Harvey, Amber Harvey, Kayleigh Harvey, Betty Harvey, Jason Harvey, and Jordan Harvey; great grandchildren Aaron, Jacob, Eli, Malakai, Madison, Ethan, Emily, Alejandro and Knox; sister Mary Ellen Barnes and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Wausau Assembly of God Church with Rev. Danny Jackson and Rev. James Earl Guy officiating. Interment will follow in the Wausau Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
