Alice Ray Laster of Chipley, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her residence. Mrs Alice was born September 1, 1930 in Chipley, Florida to the late Hazard Reed Ross and Ruby Ruth (King) Ross. She was a lunch room worker at Roulac Middle school and was a homemaker. Mrs. Alice was of the Baptist faith and a member of Blue Lake Baptist Church of Chipley. She was predeceased by her husband William Erwin Laster Sr. Survivors include two sons; William Erwin Laster Jr. and wife Carol of Chipley, Florida, Kenneth (Wormy) Laster of Chipley, Florida, two daughters; Sara Bush and husband Edgar of Chipley, Florida, Janice Bellefleur and husband Billy of Chipley, Florida, three sisters; Mary Bell of Lynn Haven, Florida, Syble Morris of Chipley, Florida, Annie Mae Pope of Lake City, Florida, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Blue Lake Baptist Church of Chipley with Reverend Tim Hall officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
