Alford Delbert Worley, age 59 of Chipley, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at his home. Mr. Worley was born September 10, 1951 in Bonifay, Florida to the late Omer and Mazie (Long) Worley. He had been a resident of Washington County most of his life. Mr. Worley was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and had worked in power line construction. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Dewey Worley and a sister, Brenda Hartzog. Survivors include his wife, Marsha Ann Worley of Chipley; two daughters, Kimberly Corbin and husband John of Chipley, Stacey Berry and significant other, Kevin Carter of Chipley; two brothers, Buell Worley and his wife Karen of Jackson, Georgia and Johnny Worley and his wife Cathy of Chipley; three sisters, Lynda Reynolds of Southport, Glenda Trout and her husband Sam of Southport and Juell Allison and her husband Ben of Southport; three grandchildren, Maygan Corbin, Matt Pleas and Jayden Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and close friends including his beloved dog "Gizmo". The family will receive friends Sunday November 28, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel with the Rev. Ben Peters and Rev. Curtis Kent officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Chipley.
