Alene Miller Waldorf, age 99, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL passed from this life on Monday, June 26, 2023.  She was born on April 16, 1924 in Wausau, FL to the late James Franklin Pitts and Lillie (Rudd) Parks.

The simplest pleasures of life brought great joy to Alene.  She loved to quilt, go on long walks, crossword puzzles, reading her Bible, and Family visits.  Her kindness and contagious smile will be dearly missed by all.  She was the strongest woman we knew, loved by so many.

Two bible verses that describe Alene were, Proverbs 31:25  She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future and  Proverbs 3:15  She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Darrell Waldorf, three sons, Quincy Gene Miller, Donald Earnest Miller, James Wallace Miller, one sister, one half sister and one half brother.

Survivors include, her loving daughter, Patricia Gail Guggenbiller and husband Allen, 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 31 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. with Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 A.M.  Reverend Dallas Pettis will be officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
